What is the true history of our planet?

Imagine an archaeologist finds an eleven-million-year-old computer—and it still works! The information on that computer sets the record straight, providing irrefutable proof that the history and religions we have been taught are all wrong. The Vatican, among other powerful groups and organizations, immediately assigns assassins to kill anyone who’s come into contact with that computer.

Does this sound far-fetched? It may, especially to religious types, who will often defend their beliefs even if it means killing others. In this case, it’s all fiction, but fiction that may not be all that far off the mark. In 2014, author Brandt Legg started writing and publishing what is known as the Cosega Series; the fifth and final book in the series was released in early 2021. The series is the story of that eleven-million-year-old computer.

The fact is that we don’t really know much about our history. Most of it consists of assumptions and theories. And while Legg’s novels are fiction, it is true that sophisticated artifacts have been found that are clearly man-made and, according to carbon dating, several hundred thousand years old—a clear violation of the history we have been taught. It can’t be ruled out that long before our known history, there might have been another, possibly highly advanced civilization on our planet. Or even several civilizations. DNA, the most important building block and element of life, has taken nine billion years to develop into what it is today, according to reputable scientists. But our own planet has been around for only 4.5 billion years, so DNA must have originated somewhere else.

One thing’s for sure: our planet isn’t flat, and the Earth wasn’t created only 6,000 years ago.

That the Vatican rolls out a bunch of assassins in Legg’s novels shouldn’t surprise anyone. That’s precisely what the Vatican has done for hundreds and hundreds of years, and probably still continues to do to this day. The Vatican, that’s the common belief there, simply can’t do no wrong, which is also why all incidents involving pedophiles in the church have been swept under the rug for the most part. And why does the Vatican do things like that? To protect a religion (an organized religion) that may not be accurate or true at all.

I’ve written about this many times before: as someone who has studied ancient and modern languages, as well as translation and Bible translation, I can tell you that no modern-day version of any Bible or any other holy scripture is a true reflection of anything. Every type of holy scripture, regardless of the religion in question, is simply a collection of fairy tales.

In his book Heaven and Hell, Bart Ehrman, a life-long Christian, provides meticulously researched details, for example, on how Jesus’s own disciples changed and manipulated his words in the years and decades following his crucifixion. So, virtually everything you can read in the Gospel according to this disciple and in the Gospel according to that disciple today is fake news!

Mind you, this did not only happen to the story of Jesus, but also to the Old Testament. Various people and groups throughout the centuries changed the original ancient texts to make them fit what they believed in. Many of Jesus’s disciples saw things very differently, and when they wrote their gospels, they took their own beliefs, teachings and words, and put them into Jesus’s mouth—fake news at its best, two thousand years before the arrival of the Internet. According to Ehrman’s account, for example, you can take every single thing Jesus ever said, according to any of the bibles you can obtain today, but only around five percent of all that may be actual quotes; the rest was invented by the apostles and later, over the centuries, by the Vatican.

Again, and I’m sorry to disappoint a lot of people, this is true of every single religion out there. Ancient texts were passed down incorrectly, mistranslated, and changed deliberately and repeatedly by different people for the sake of gaining power and influence for themselves.

None of this, though, negates the existence of a supreme or superior entity (“God”), but whoever or whatever that entity is, it’s definitely completely different from the depictions you find in so-called holy scriptures. My own money is on the universe itself being that entity. Since the only thing—in science, religion, etc.—we know for sure is that we know absolutely nothing, the universe may well be a sentient entity or life form. As humans, we tend to be quite arrogant, and our view of what we regard a life form is extremely limited, and limiting. There are many things on our planet most people refuse to accept as life forms (trees, for example), and there are also theories that even something as lifeless as rocks may be some type of life form. Again, since we don’t know anything at all, anything and everything is, therefore, absolutely possible.

Maybe one day we’ll find a computer that’s millions of years old. Or some other artifact that leaves no doubt that we have been lied to and manipulated for thousands of years. I sincerely hope we do. After some initial chaos, and a series of Vatican-ordered assassinations, the world, I think, would at long last find peace and finally become the planet that it was meant to be, teeming with life and people—not Americans, Russians or Chinese, but Terrans!—all living in perfect harmony with each other and the rest of the universe.
